Another Cheshire window fully renovated

Just a few more pics of some renovation work at the old rectory Chester . This window is a later addition casement window that has rotted from the bottom up due to having a flush joint with the surrounding brickwork , making it impossible to achieve a sound mastic seal , hence water has penetrated over the years. We have removed all the rot and spliced in new sections and created a new dwarf cill bridging the flush joint and eliminating any future water ingress.
