No rest for the wicked

Sorry to say we don't all get weekends off , it is my turn for doing surveys this weekend , as in me Michael Clough Paul Fereday , Company directors ,we are all hands on here.
Today we covered two small Victorian properties on the outskirts of Chester with a total of sixteen windows.
A very large Georgian property in Cheshire , if we get this one i will keep you updated as it has a very interesting history.
And lastly one Georgian town house in Shropshire , and on the way back a lovely three storey Victorian detached property in Denbighshire.
All part of a days work.
Bye for now Michael Clough

Components for Hoole contract

Our joinery workshop started machining the window pillaster and door frame components today after sending over our profile samples to our local water jet machining company , they produce for us unique cutters to exactly match any profile we provide ( not cheap but a perfect match ) .

We should be finishing our draught proofing contract on a thirty five bedroom hotel in llandudno in the next two weeks ready for the summer season , they will see a reduction in heating costs and a big drop in noise reduction .

New project in Chester

Kensingtons have now been given the go ahead to start work on a grade ll listed Georgian rectory in Chester, after working closely with the client it was decided to draught proof and repair a sample sash window for appraisal by the local authority conservation officer.

The window has now been fully approved and we have been on site today to take samples of all the mouldings that are required and we will be making these in our joinery workshop from custom made cutters.

As well as the sash windows we have a large selection of casement windows to fully restore, some external doors and a large very ornate shell canopy above the front entrance.
